Waterfront Master Plan, Washington, NC

WK Dickson's Downtown Revitalization Strategy (DRS) explored appropriate uses and the intensity of uses in these 12 blocks fronting the Pamlico River in the heart of Downtown Washington. The project team developed a guide for future public and private investment that will stimulate economic activity and return residential use to the core area of the waterfront. This revitalization strategy is congruent with the Main Street philosophy and is primarily involved with the "Economic Restructuring" and "Design" components of the Main Street process. WK Dickson received the Merit Award for this project from the Georgia Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects
