Noonday Creek Multi-Use Trail Master Plan

The Noonday Creek Trail Master Plan project is a6.2 mile multi-use trail in Cobb County connecting the Bells Ferry neighborhood to the Cobb Parkway / Barrett Parkway intersection along the Noonday Creek corridor. Future plans will link Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park with the Noonday Creek Trail.
The centerpiece of the Master Plan is the funding strategy for acquiring and administering a variety of funding sources for the trail. More than thirty [30] viable sources were identified through three funding strategies.
The trail includes extensive boardwalks, paved 12’ multi-use trail systems, habitat restoration, invasive species removal, interpretive signage, bridge undercrossings and traffic calming measures for at-grade roadway crossings.
