WK Dickson welcomes new program manager to the Atlanta office
WK Dickson is pleased to announce the addition of David Gjertson, AICP, RLA, ASLA, as a program manager located in Atlanta, GA. In this role, David will be responsible for business development and practice growth as it relates to landscape architecture, parks and recreation, and urban master planning.
With over 30 years of landscape architecture and land planning experience, David’s specialties include neighborhood revitalization, redevelopment master planning, urban design and park and recreation projects. He is a recognized expert in the philosophies of Smart Growth and Low Impact Development (LID) and has applied these concepts to hundreds of projects. As an award-winning designer, David has been recipient of two national design awards, two residential design awards, and project teams under his direction have won five ASLA awards.

David earned a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture degree from the University of Wisconsin. He is a licensed landscape architect in Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, and South Carolina as well as a AICP certified planner. Additionally, David is member of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), the American Planning Association, the Congress for New Urbanism (CNU), and the Urban Land Institute (ULI Member) American Planning Association.
