WK Dickson welcomes new program manager Mick Metcalf, PE, AAAE/CM
WK Dickson is pleased to announce the addition of M.J. “Mick” Metcalf, PE, AAAE/CM, as an aviation program manager located in Charlotte, NC. In this role, Mick will be responsible for leading the strategic growth and development of the aviation group in the Charlotte Metro and surrounding areas with a specific focus on commercial airports.
With over 26 years of service in the aviation industry, Mick’s experience entails the full range of airport projects – from general airfield rehabilitation to major airport expansion projects. Mick previously served as senior engineer with the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and has been the lead engineer for the design development of several large multi-million dollar landside and airside projects.

Mick earned a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in political science from North Carolina State University as well as an Associate of Applied Science in aviation systems technology from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He is a licensed professional engineer in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, and Missouri. Additionally, Mick is certified member of the American Association of Airport Executive as well as a licensed FAA pilot and airframe and powerplant mechanic.
