WK Dickson welcomes new program manager – Michael Ellison

WK Dickson is pleased to announce the addition of Michael Ellison as program manager for our stormwater and watershed practice located in Charlotte, NC. Michael’s role will be to provide program management services to our stormwater and watershed clients as well as help WK Dickson maintain and grow our service offerings within the watershed sciences arena.

A versatile environment and natural resources manager, Michael has over 20 years of experience as a consultant, providing natural systems analysis and ecosystem restoration services to private, industrial, and institutional landowners, nonprofits, and all levels of government. Michael has completed successful projects throughout the southeastern states, helping communities restore streams, wetlands, forests, and prairies. Michael also served as director of the NCDEQ Division of Mitigation Services and as executive director of the Louisiana Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority.

Michael earned his Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Alabama. He also has extensive continuing education on technical issues (e.g. Process based channel design, sediment transport, Rosgen I-IV, dam removal, and wetlands delineation).
