WK Dickson welcomes new funding specialist – Sheryl Parsons
WK Dickson is pleased to announce the addition of Sheryl Parsons as a funding specialist.
Sheryl brings a wealth of funding knowledge to the WK Dickson team having spent 29 years with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as a senior State Revolving Fund (SRF) program manager. While at the EPA, Sheryl managed a $19 billion infrastructure finance program and created critical infrastructure finance plans for water and wastewater treatment facilities. Additionally, Sheryl was the co-lead on several national workgroups to develop funding guidance documents and led an interdisciplinary team in an on-site review of the SRF program.
“Throughout her career, Sheryl has combined her passion for environmental regulation with financing alternatives to help develop innovative solutions to difficult infrastructure engineering issues. She has a special talent for training and decimating complex funding mechanisms and will be an invaluable resource to our clients in identifying projects for funding and developing and reviewing funding applications.” said Angie Mettlen, WK Dickson's Director of Strategic Funding & Regulatory Affairs.
Sheryl earned a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Business Administration degree in management from Georgia State University. She is a member of the Southern Management Association and the Organizational Behavior Teaching Society.
