WK Dickson to Help Move People at GSP Airport

February 8th, 2017

The WK Dickson team has been selected to provide preliminary planning and design of Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport’s (GSP) Automated Transit Network (ATN); a unique transportation system for moving people between remote parking lots and the terminal building.

pod_conceptWork will include validating the feasibility study, conducting a system analysis, providing the client with alternative layouts and investigations regarding how the ATN interfaces with the existing infrastructure. Animations and renderings will be critical components of this project and will most likely include a variety of applications including Sketchup, BIM, 3D Studio Max and Rhino-Grasshopper. WK Dickson will serve as the prime consultant with additional team members coming from PRT Consulting, Leo A Daly, and Parsons Brinckerhoff.

This project will be the first of its kind in the US, and we are excited to be a part of this hi-tech and unique project.
