COMMUNITY PLANNING

Our community planning practice fills the gap between conventional town planning and architecture and can produce a clear visualization and appraisal of development at an early stage.

We can offer a wide variety of experience in master planning, urban design and feasibility studies. Our master planning experience ranges from single urban sites to entire multi-state regions.

We communicate ideas and proposals effectively in words and images and have developed data handling and modeling systems for a variety of feasibility exercises.

For projects that require a wider range of skills the practice can assemble an in-house team of professionals who are experts in their own fields, such as landscape architecture, transportation planning, utility infrastructure, urban regeneration, and arts and culture.

Areas of expertise include:

  • Master planning / site assessment
  • Low impact development
  • Sustainable site design
  • Public involvement program
  • Economic opportunities assessment
  • Land use analysis
  • Utility infrastructure design
  • Streetscapes and pedestrian facilities
  • Design guidelines manual
