Aviation Project Engineer
Serves as Project Engineer/Project Manager on air carrier, general aviation and other airport assignments with expanding technical knowledge of airport engineering design and plan preparation techniques. Responsible for initiating aspects of project performance of aviation services for the local practice – including presentation, accuracy and quality of contract deliverables in a timely and efficient manner. Assists the Program Manager in formulating contracts, amendments, scope of services and fee proposals. Will direct a staff of 3-5 technical personnel on daily project design and production activities with support from the Aviation Program Manager and serve as a technical resource on other project assignments working with our regional offices. Should have 6 to 10 years of progressive experience, a PE licensure, and experience with the FAA Airport Improvement Program. Proficiency with use of aviation design aided software as well as AutoCad © and Microstation © software platforms. Active participation in at least one aviation service organization when called upon -- such as AAAE, ACI, ACC, ASCE, SAME, or State Level Association.

Director of Watershed Sciences
WK Dickson has experienced significant growth in its Watershed Sciences division and has an immediate opening for a practice builder to lead our efforts firm wide. This position will be responsible for expanding our Watershed Sciences services across the Southeast through aggressive and proactive marketing. In particular the focus will be on pursuing ecologic restoration, water quality (modeling, nutrient trading, etc.) and other natural resource conservation projects. Specific responsibilities include the acquisition, performance and direction of profitable projects. This position will also serve as a technical resource for the firm, providing high-level advice within their areas of expertise.
If you share the vision to manage a practice that is setting trends in ecologic restoration, watershed planning, water quality and natural resource conservation this is the right opportunity for you. BS in biology, ecology, engineering or related field is required. Minimum 10 yrs progressive experience in the private sector managing a variety of natural resources projects. MS or PhD, modeling experience, strong relationships w/ the academic community, experience with local, state and federal agencies in the southeast region is preferred.
